We’re back this Sunday night Jan 6th to launch into 2013 and the season of epiphany. We’ll have prayer stations set up around the room this Sunday night to help us start the year in prayer and reflection.

Epiphany
In the gospels, the coming of Jesus into the world only begins the story. What follows Christmas is an unveiling, the heart of which can be summed up by Paul’s words: “God was in Christ, reconciling the world to himself” (2 Corinthians 5:19, NLT).
Epiphany, which follows Christmas, reminds us that the story of Jesus comes alive when we take care to pay attention. Epiphany reminds us of the value of living wakefully. From now on we will find ourselves continually trying to catch up to what God reveals, and does, through Jesus. From now on we will learn that wonder is happening right in front of us.
These are days of worship and prayer.
